  • 1/4 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped caramel squares
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips, caramel pieces, and pecans.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to form dough balls; place them on the baking sheet about three inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10–14 minutes until slightly underbaked; let cool on the sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
