  • 1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Canola or peanut oil for frying
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • Fresh cilantro and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1-2 inches of oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
  2. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, whisk together egg and milk.
  4. Coat each chicken piece first in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and return to the flour mixture.
  5. Fry coated chicken pieces until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
  6. Toss fried chicken with sweet chili sauce and garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds before serving.
