  • 3 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 lb. ground beef (85% lean)
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 (16 oz.) box elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, cook and crumble the ground beef with onions until browned; drain excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste; stir well.
  3. Pour in beef broth and add uncooked macaroni; bring to a gentle simmer.
