  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 packages hot cocoa mix (not sugar-free)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Mallow Bits

Instructions

  1. In a standing mixer, beat softened butter with sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, hot cocoa mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add to the butter mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and Mallow Bits.
  3. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Drop tablespoon-sized portions onto lined baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Allow cooling on baking sheets for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
