  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 cup whole or 2% milk (warmed to 110°F)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • Flaky sea salt for finishing

Instructions

  1. Prepare a buttered 9×13 pan.
  2. Melt butter and sauté minced garlic; let cool.
  3. Combine flour, parsley, sugar, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix in warmed milk, egg, and cooled garlic butter until combined.
  5. Knead the dough until smooth (about 10-12 minutes).
  6. Divide into 12 portions and shape into balls; place in the pan to rise until doubled (1-2 hours).
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  8. Brush rolls with beaten egg wash and bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Brush baked rolls with additional garlic herb butter and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.
